Taylor C. Duncan

(CEO, President, and Chief Fun Officer)

Taylor Duncan, founder of Alternative Baseball®, challenges our perspective of being an athlete, a leader, and building community. Since his autism diagnosis at age 4, Taylor often was rejected from playing baseball due to preconceived notions about those on the spectrum. Undeterred, Taylor improved his technique by working with some of the best in baseball and would later take his experiences to start a local movement that provides inclusive opportunities for others like himself to learn tenets of character to win the sport of life on and off the diamond. Taylor began this organization to provide a place for himself and others with autism and disabilities to simply enjoy the sport of baseball. In recent years, in response to the need for diversified opportunities for those with disabilities, Taylor pivoted from playing and coaching baseball to focusing on leading a community-based movement focused on personal development and growth for the future. Today, Taylor also offers consultancy work to develop new sports and leadership programs outside of North America; having led Alternative Baseball to associated member status with the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). Showcased on NBC’s TODAY Show, ESPN Baseball Tonight, WGN-TV, Sports Illustrated, and other outlets. Duncan graduated summa cum laude from Toccoa Falls College in 2025 in Nonprofit Business Administration with minors in Sports Management and Bible & Theology.
